Lilleba & Environment

At Lilleba & Herremann, we believe in creating underwear and nightwear that not only looks good and has a unique personality but also cares for our beautiful planet. We are committed to respecting good working conditions and human rights within our supply chain. Collaboration and seeking opportunities for improvement are core strengths we embrace. Human rights and environmental consciousness are at the forefront of everything we do. It is important to us.

ENVIRONMENT AND ETHICS

We strive to adopt a broad environmental and ethical perspective in all our endeavors. We are aware of the use of chemicals in both raw material manufacturing and garment production. We understand the impact this has on the production areas and the workers involved. We operate based on ISO standards and certifications. Our long lead time of 6 months from order to delivery allows us to ensure our products are free from toxic chemicals. Additionally, we use independent laboratories to regularly test our products. We are against the use of fur and aim to minimize waste in all our operations. We believe in reducing consumption and increasing the prices of textiles. We advocate for a mindset shift among a significant portion of the population, where quality is valued over cheapness. Consumers need to transition from buying clothes that only last for two months to choosing garments they truly desire and that last for 5 to 7 years. This is environmental conservation in practice. We believe that all companies have a responsibility to contribute in any way they can, both in terms of attitude and the environment.

In Norway, the Transparency Act will come into effect on July 1, 2022. Its purpose is to promote respect for fundamental human rights and decent working conditions.
