Lilleba garments should be washed gently to maintain their good qualities. The products can be washed at 40 degrees Celsius using a regular washing program and detergents designed for wool and silk.
Do not use fabric softener.
We recommend a short washing program (30-60 minutes) and a maximum spin speed of 1000 revolutions with mild detergent. The garments should NOT be washed using the wool program!
The reason for this is that with the wool program, the clothes remain still in the water, with little or no movement. If you let bamboo viscose and cotton sit in water, they can develop a sour odor, and the fibers become weaker. The nickel-free buttons can also rust (turn bluish).
Ideally, wash Lilleba products only with other bamboo or cotton products. This is because wool and synthetic fibers can cause pilling on the Lilleba fabric. Using a laundry bag is also an alternative.
Stains can be removed with På Stell Sitron soap or other mild stain removers.
The clothes should not be soaked or tumble-dried. We also do not recommend hand washing, as it is difficult to regulate the temperature, and the color may fade.
It is also a good idea to turn the garments inside out before washing to preserve the pattern for a longer time. If you experience any shrinkage after washing, stretch the garment while it is still wet.
